Each event in Slayte includes automated notifications that are sent to participants based on their role or action. These reminders help ensure that speakers, attendees, and exhibitors stay informed about the event. By default, some notifications are automatically enabled, but you can configure which ones to use, customize their templates, or disable them if needed.
Configuring Event Notifications
Step 1: From the Home page, select Events from the tile or the left navigation panel.

Step 2: Select the event you want to configure. Under Settings, click General.

Step 3: Scroll to the Event Communication section. Here you can enable or disable different types of notifications and assign templates to each. Available options include:
- Registration Confirmation to Purchaser
- Registration Updated Notification to Purchaser
- Registration Notification to each added attendee
- Registration Notification to each updated attendee
- Event starting in N days (configurable in dialog) message to event speakers
- Event starting in N days (configurable in dialog) message to event attendees
- Event starting in N days (configurable in dialog) message to event exhibitors
- Connection Request to Attendee
Managing Default Notifications
Some notifications are enabled by default. For example, reminders for event participants are automatically set to send a specific number of days before the event begins. The number of days can be adjusted in the configuration dialog, where applicable.
You can disable any notification by clearing its checkbox if it is not needed.

Customizing Email Templates
- To create a personalized message, click Add New Template. Templates must be created separately for each notification type.

- In the pop-up window, edit the subject and body content as desired, then click Save.

- After saving, the notification will display the new template name along with the creator’s name.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save again to apply your changes to the event.
