Managing event sessions individually can become time-consuming as the number of sessions grows. To simplify this process, Slayte provides a bulk editing option that allows you to update configurations across multiple sessions at once. This helps save time and ensures consistency when applying the same changes to many sessions.
Accessing Bulk Edit
Go to the desired event and open the Sessions page.
On the left side of each session row, select the checkbox. You can also use the checkbox at the top of the table to select all sessions in the event.

Bulk Edit Options
Once you select one or more sessions, new options will appear at the top of the page: Clear selection, Edit, Export, and Delete.

To update sessions, select Edit. A pop-up will open where you can choose the property or configuration you want to update from a dropdown menu.

For example, if you want to set the same start time for multiple sessions, select Begin Date. A date-time picker will appear, allowing you to set the start time that will apply to all selected sessions.
Saving Changes
Select the property or configuration you want to update.
Enter or select the new value (for example, a new date and time).
Click Update to apply the change to all selected sessions.

Special Cases: Categories, Speakers, and Editor Groups
Some properties, such as Categories, Speakers, and Editor Groups, allow more than one option to be assigned to a session. When editing these in bulk, you will see additional update methods:
- Replace with the above: Removes any existing values and replaces them with your new selection.
- Add the above to the list: Keeps the current values and adds the new ones to the session.
- Remove the above from the list: Removes only the values you select, leaving other existing ones unchanged.
This flexibility ensures you can manage complex session assignments without losing data unnecessarily.
