Release Notes 09/20/2024

Fixes and Improvements:

Call Admin Access to Orders:
Call-specific administrators can now properly view and manage orders associated with their calls.

Editing Submissions Without Extra Payments:
Editing a submission after payment no longer creates unnecessary new orders. If extra orders were generated before this fix, they may need manual cleanup.

Submission User Restriction Validation:
Corrected an issue that stopped both admins and restricted users from withdrawing submissions. Now, only the correct users are able to withdraw submissions as intended.

Minimum and Maximum Attachment Limits:
Submission fields now properly enforce required minimum and maximum numbers of attachments.

Improved Order Payment View:
Removed an unused status column, making pending orders clearer and easier to handle.

Attachment Restriction Message:
Fixed an issue where a missing or undefined message displayed when certain file restrictions applied.

PDF Export & Storage Cleanup:
Introduced a process to zip and archive PDF exports, preventing old files from taking up space indefinitely. Requesters receive an email with a link to download their zipped exports. Added a maximum file size limit to avoid creating excessively large exports.

Submission Preview Stability:
Fixed crashes that occurred when multiple attachment previews were in a single submission.

Co-Author Editing Permissions:
Co-authors can now edit submissions if they have the appropriate permissions.

Call Listing Enhancements:
Ensures call-specific admins always see the calls they manage, even if the calls have special statuses.

Review Detail Fields:
Hides unnecessary fields during reviews and removes empty sections to reduce clutter.

Larger PDF Previews:
Fixed a limitation that prevented large PDFs from displaying properly in certain browsers.

Review Display Fixes:
Corrected various display issues so that review details and static fields appear correctly.

“Not Released” Calls:
Calls set to “Not Released” no longer disappear, ensuring admins can manage them as needed.
