From the Home page, click Competitions.

Click + Create Competition.

- Click Settings at the top. This takes you to the competition’s configuration page where you can set:
- General Settings
- Application
- Notifications
General Settings

- Link for this Competition: Generate a public link for applicants.
- Name and Description: Provide a title and any guidelines or details applicants should know.

- Categorize: Select or create a category/subcategory to help identify this competition.

- Group: Assign or create a group label for the competition.
- Tags: Assign or create tags to mark specific characteristics of the competition.

- Limited staff for this competition: Add specific users to the staff team.
- Admins only for this competition: Add specific admins for privileged access.

- Stage: Set up the competition’s stages. Only the first stage is initially active to receive applications. To activate a different stage, drag it to the top of the list.


- Use Performance Group: Enable or disable the grouping feature for performances (toggle ON/OFF).

- Score Display: Decide how scores will appear. Possible options include:
- Default
- Merge current score with the selected stage’s average score. Click Configure to specify which stages to merge
- Prizes: Set up and customize any competition prizes.

Application
Click Edit next to Application to adjust these settings:

Mechanism: Choose how applicants will enter:
- Applicant performs
- Applicant registers a single performer
- Applicant registers multiple performers

Form: Click Create Form to build your application form. Provide a name and add relevant fields, then click Save.

Confirmation Message: Create a custom message shown to the applicant after successful submission.

Application period: Specify the start and end dates for receiving applications.

Performance Group Assignment: By default, set to “Evenly” distribute performances among groups.

Min and Max participants per application: By default, there’s no limit. Enter or adjust numbers to set your preferred limits.

Restrictions: By default, anyone can apply. You can limit this by selecting “User must be member of group” or creating other custom requirements.

Notifications
By default, notifications are off. Enable them by checking the boxes beside each setting:

E-mail blind-copy: Add an email address (or multiple, separated by commas) to receive blind-copied messages about competition events.

Communication: A default automated message is used for these events:
- Competition Application Received
- Competition Review Assigned
- Competition Review Received
You can personalize these notifications by creating a new message template.

By default, Performance Group is enabled. If not needed, turn it off in the Settings you edited earlier.
A single group is created automatically. Click Add to create more groups:
Or Duplicate to clone an existing group’s settings:

Click View to open a group, then Settings to adjust configuration:

Choose Edit to customize details

Within these group settings, you can configure:

Review Form: Click Create A Review Form to build the judge’s review form.

Judges: Add judges individually or by group, and choose an assignment rule:
- Each performance reviewed by EVERY judge
- Each performance reviewed by ONE judge
- Custom (set your own distribution rules)

Date Scheduling (Begin/End) & Location: Specify the session’s date, time, and location.

Granularity, Block Length & Break Duration: Enter or adjust values for session timing.

Click Save to finalize your updates.
