Assign Specific Call Admins / Chair / Manager

Assigning a Specific Call Admin, Chair, or Manager allows you to delegate responsibilities for a particular call without giving the person full administrative access to all calls in the system. This is useful when different team members or committee leads are responsible for overseeing different calls, managing submissions, or coordinating reviews.

For example, you might assign a Chair to manage the review process for one call, while a Call Admin is responsible for updating settings and communicating with submitters in another.

Assigning a Specific Call Admin, Chair, or Manager

  1. Go to Calls and select the call where you want to assign the role.
  2. Click the Settings tab from the menu.
  3. Click Edit to enable changes for the call.

  4. In the Specific Call Admins or Chair / Manager section, click Edit.

    A Call Admin can manage all settings and data for this call, while a Chair/Manager may have a more limited scope, often focusing on review coordination and oversight.
  5. Type the individual’s name in the search bar. Select the correct person from the drop-down list, then click Done.

  6. Click Save to finalize your changes.

  7. Once saved, the platform will confirm that the call details were updated successfully.

After assigning these roles, the designated users will see the call listed in their dashboard with the permissions associated with their role, allowing them to manage their responsibilities without affecting other calls.
